Now tell me how I’m supposed? to hook up a 37mm lens to this thing without an adapter, OR let me know where I can find a 34mm lens, because so far, I have found zero..

This is a great Canon camcorder but I’m waiting till next month…the R300 which retails for $350. NEW now has external mic and headphone inputs…
They have also claimed the newer versions have drastically improved on LOW light video recording. I like that all models use Dolbly noise filter to reduce clipping.
The R300 is the cheaper priced version for their newiest line which now? offer wireless streaming downloads to either computer or directly to Youtube.
Canon is the best value…
I had a Flip? HDcamera…most of my uploads on my site are shot using a FlipHD…Easy to use, excelent in low light (my videos). Sound recording is A+ .
Flip’s software is also VERY good…
However my camera had issues after a year of usage…It charged fully over night but when I used it the recording only last less than 10 minutes. Many others have posted the same issues. Mine was not the nano I was able to install NEW AAA batteries which only lasted 5 minutes. Camera is gone.
It’s not a review if you don’t buy it first. Your going to a store and reviewing a camera you don’t even own.? And the creepy intro isn’t funny either. Use some creativity Marshall.
I wouldnt bash him like that. But for next time a good “Revivew” for the camera people are looking for is , Dose it takes different? Lens, Whats the Zoom , How is the performance with Moving Object, How many FPS dose it record on. Is is 24P Cinema? , Whats the Buttons! Me I like me Buttons on my camera Is it a touch screen? Do you have to use the zoom with the touch screen? Dose it have a manual Zoom. Now I know you cant really test it out fully but the simple Hardware Specs its good to know.

I really would have liked a bit more information, but what I did? learn from the vid was useful! This particular cam is now 299$ +tax at Best Buy and I was looking to purchase it for makeup tutorials. Wish me luck!

It is a waste? of money when a camcorder doesn’t have a external mic jack unless you’re making silent videos. But that’s what I like about the Canons prior to the Sony’s although I do like Sony.
Scarlettkimberly … My Flip video Ultra HD camera takes as good of video as my HF M31 at $700. The big part is an external mic? jack to use a shotgun mic of Azden wireless, Canon has great video, has CMOS technology, face recognition and all. If you are on a budget look for price vs internal memory. Mine has 32 GB. Go with a Canon.

The Canon HFR 20 or the Canon HG10? My dad told me I could pick a camera, but I’m just trying to find the best possible thing for an affordable price.
