More fun with the Sling-X-Bow

The slingshot crossbow became very popular in a very short timeframe. Therefore, it is tested against some more catfood cans, again filled with water. The shots have been recorded with two cameras, one regular HD camcorder and then also with a 1200 fps High Speed cam, the Casio EX-F1 Pro. See the 16 mm (.63″) lead bullet crashing into the cans!

Ja, das ist erlaubt. Das Gesetz stellt nicht auf Dinge wie Wurfarme etc. ab. Deshalb sind auch Harpunen etc. OK.?
Hallo! Jörg ist diese Schleuderarmbrust in DE überhaupt erlaubt? Ich meine es hat ja nicht mehr diese typischen Armbrust teile wie Wurfarme etc. das ist eigentlich? das einzige was mich vom bauen abhält. Ansonsten Super Channel und tolle Schleudern! Mach weiter so!

you should try attatching a? laser pointer to the barrel/ slidy thingy
because of the trigger and holding mechanism there would be no problem about pulling to high or to the side

Ich weiß? nicht, ob ich so einen Bauplan veröffentlichen werde. Das Teil ist eine richtige Waffe, im Gegensatz zu einer normalen Schleuder kann damit auch jeder Ungeübte echten Schaden anrichten. Ausserdem braucht man eine Schweisserausrüstung, hat längst nicht jeder.

Wann kommt eigentlich der Bauplan zu dem? Dingen?
Meine ideale Auszugslänge ist schon ziemlich genau getroffen. Die Schleuder ist leicht nach vorn verlängert, 10 cm. Ich muss also aus 18 cm 77 cm machen, ideal für die Maximalkraft meiner Arme. Wird der Auszugsweg länger, ist mehr Power nur? mit anderen Spanntechniken (Kurbel etc.) möglich.
Klar, die Schrotpouch passt. Habe aber keine? Bleikugeln mehr! Muss mal nachbestellen.

From what I’ve seen, pulleys seem to be more trouble than they’re worth. You’d have to adjust the bands after every shot and you’d lose energy through? friction.
