You’ve probably seen my vfx reel called the nightmare. Here is the vfx breakdown!!! As you can see a lot of little things were put in each shot. I absolutely love to make videos like that, if you want to see more, you will have to subscribe. It’s not hard. In the last shot, the fire elements I used were from: detonationfilms.com www.videocopilot.net the cracks on the ground were also from action essentials 2. “The nightmare” vfx reel: www.youtube.com “The nightmare” Before & after vfx: www.youtube.com Subscribe: www.youtube.com this is a video to show you what I first filmed to achieve my visual effects. to remove the background of some of the shots, I tried to use the new Rotobrush feature in adobe after effects cs5. I would say that if you don’t have a greenscreen or bluescreen, you can use that, but it’s a lot longer to render. However, the rotobrush can be useful when you need to do typical rotoscoping. But, to achieve great result using that tool, you need to have a decent high definition camcorder. After watching this, I can promise to you that I will do other vfx reel. I will also post a vfx breakdown, something I always wanted to do. Oh damn I hope somebody is reading what I wrote…
